Terms of Use
Last updated: October 24, 2026
These terms apply to the RapidRecall AI app and the getrapidrecall.com website (together, "RapidRecall"), published by Daniel Francis ("we," "us"). By using RapidRecall, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use RapidRecall.
1. Who can use RapidRecall
You must be at least 13 years old to use RapidRecall. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for activity on your account.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly ($12.99) or yearly ($79.99), in US dollars. Prices in other countries are set by the App Store and may differ. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Exam Pass is a one-time purchase of $29.99 that gives you access to the Exam Pass features for the certification exam you choose for 60 days from purchase. It does not renew. When the 60 days end, access ends unless you buy another Exam Pass.
- Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel Premium in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then RapidRecall AI. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Free access. Students can try one college course free for a week, and certification learners can try 50 practice questions free. Any free trial offered through the App Store converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
We may change prices for future periods. If we do, Apple will notify you as required, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the notes, files, and other material you upload ("your content"). You give us permission to store, process, and transmit your content, including sending it to our AI providers (Anthropic for questions and coaching, and OpenAI for lecture transcription), only as needed to run RapidRecall for you. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies we must keep briefly for backup or legal reasons.
Upload only material you have the right to use. Don't upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or other people's private information. Before recording a lecture, make sure your school and instructor allow it, and follow any law that requires consent to record.
5. AI-generated content
RapidRecall uses artificial intelligence to generate practice questions, explanations, and memory tricks. AI can make mistakes, and generated content may be incomplete or wrong. RapidRecall is a study aid. Check important information against your course materials, instructor, or official exam guide.
6. Certification exams
RapidRecall is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, NVIDIA, or any other certification provider, and our practice questions are not actual exam questions. Certification names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what you can study for. We can't guarantee that you will pass any exam or course.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse RapidRecall. For example, don't:
- use it to cheat on a live exam or graded assignment, or in any way your school or exam provider prohibits;
- copy, resell, or redistribute our question banks or app content;
- try to reverse engineer the app, get around usage limits, or access other people's accounts;
- use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.
8. Our content
The app, question banks, design, and other material we provide belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use RapidRecall for your own studying, subject to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using RapidRecall and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Canceling an account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel that in your iPhone settings.
10. Disclaimers
RapidRecall is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, including a failed exam or course. Our total liability for any claim relating to RapidRecall is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
13. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for RapidRecall or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use RapidRecall after that means you accept the updated terms.
